Statement of Faith

We believe in the triune God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God the Father, the Creator of all things, is sovereign and omnipotent, governing all that comes to pass in accordance with His divine will. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates, sanctifies, and empowers all who believe in Jesus Christ.

Our faith is anchored in the Holy Scriptures, which are the inspired and infallible Word of God, the ultimate authority for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. As stated in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” This verse highlights the divine inspiration and practical utility of the Bible, emphasizing its role in shaping and guiding the believer’s life.

We affirm that humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin, resulting in separation from God. We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. His sacrifice on the cross was the perfect atonement for our sins, and through His resurrection, we are justified and reconciled to God. This grace is freely given and cannot be earned by human efforts.

We believe in the importance of the church, the body of Christ, as the community of believers who are called to worship God, nurture one another, and proclaim the Gospel to the world. The church is called to be a light in the darkness, living out the love and teachings of Jesus Christ through word and deed.

We hold to the sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper as outward signs of inward grace, instituted by Christ. Baptism symbolizes the believer’s union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection, while the Lord’s Supper commemorates His sacrifice and anticipates His return.

In all things, we strive to glorify God, growing in faith, hope, and love, and eagerly await the fulfillment of His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
